A feeling of uncertainty.

I'll be graduating from college this year like many of my friends and peers. We'll go through a stage of doubt, anxiety, depression, or excitement about what's to come ahead. We'll be applying to plethora of jobs hoping to get at least one response or an interview.

I don't know how to describe what I feel. I have my fears about the future, but also knowing that I have other options makes me somewhat optimistic. 


This feeling of uncertainty has been the most certain thing in my life right now at this very moment.

Even though my style doesn't incorporate bright colors or any cool patterns (mostly because I don't think I can get away with it) I've come to love Mara Hoffman's use of colors and patterns in her Fall 2013 collection. I wish I could rock those pants from the 2nd look.

I'll tell myself I'm going to stick with my blog and then two days into it I get busy with work and school or simply lazy, but this time (hopefully) it's going to be different.


I'm in the process of finding myself and discovering what I want to do and where I want to go. I look back on my short life and have so many regrets or ask myself a lot of whys? Why didn't I do this? Why didn't I do that? But I'm done with that. I just want to live a full-filled life of love, adventure, passion, and happiness, and I know I can get there. It's just going to take some time and effort.

In the mean time, I'm going to dance to this....

+ Hiking in North GA

This past weekend I went hiking on the Panther Creek trail for the first time with my roommate, Sophia. I also got to use my new birthday present to take these photos (totes excited). We got up bright and early and drove about an hour and half up north. I must say it's been a while since I've really spent some time outside totally immersed in nature. What was supposed to be a 5.5 mile hike ended up being about 8-10 miles because we got lost in the woods for a good bit, and even though I was out of breath with knees shaking towards the end of the hike, it was all worth it because the end-view was quite breathtaking. We had lunch by the waterfall, soaked our feet in the icy water, and took ridiculous amounts of pictures with my new DSLR :)

I must say that I am absolutely in awe of Tory Burch's Resort 2013 collection. I never really had an inkling for mixed patterns but these looks are so vivacious and feminine. I know she gets a lot of her inspirations from afar and the influence and inspirations from her trips are very obvious in these looks. Her use of rich fabrics and contemporary cuts make a true lifestyle brand. I just love it all!
